Gears of War 6 has not even been formally announced by Microsoft at the time of this writing, and this leaked release date is questionable for a number of different reasons.

A release date is definitely within the realm of possibility, but as always, fans should keep their expectations in check and wait for an official announcement. As for when the announcement could come, that's anyone's guess. It's possible that the game could be revealed as early as The Game Awards in December, though that seems unlikely.

A more likely scenario is that Gears of War 6 could be revealed at E3 , but then again, that might be a bit too late if the game's release date is truly planned for November of next year. While it's unclear when a reveal could come, it's certain that a new Gears of War game will materialize in some capacity, given the success of the franchise so far.
